Kinshasa, December 16th, 2022 (CPA)-.The president of the electoral center, Denis Kadima, launched Thursday, the level 4 training cascade, in favor of the personnel responsible for the revision of the electoral register through the operation of registration and identification of voters in operational area 1.
“This session will allow you to learn the procedures for the voter registration and identification operation, but also to use the registration kit, the solar panels and the transmission equipment,” Denis Kadima told the press attendees.
“Once this step has been completed, various registration centers will be set up for the identification and enrollment of voters in the ten provinces concerned by the operational area,” he added.
The President of the INEC thus called on the participants to master the aspects of the training and to integrate the innovations introduced such as iris capture, support for the voter pre-registration application, which d ‘after him, give meaning to this operation which begins on December 24th.
Denis Kadima Kazadi stressed that these innovations will improve the aspects of the operation and capitalize on the effective holding of the elections scheduled for December 20th, 2023.
According to him, the duration of the operation to update the electoral register in each operational area is 30 days, estimating at nearly 20 million voters expected in the registration centers.
This training cascade launched by the president of the electoral center at the Mokengeli Institute in the commune of Lemba concerns 27,753 presidents of voter registration centers and voter identification workers, 12,284 candidate data entry operators (OPS) and 12,159 general-purpose attendants, it is reported.
